When the Big 12 Championships begin Wednesday, fourth-seeded Texas Tech will face rival Texas in the quarterfinal, TexasTech.com announced this past weekend.
The Red Raiders and Longhorns will play at the Swope Soccer Village in Kansas City at 2 p.m.
The Longhorns beat Tech earlier this season 1-0 in overtime.
The Red Raiders (14-3-1) are looking to continue their win streak into the postseason, winning their last four games. Texas is coming off a loss to Oklahoma State 2-1 in their last regular season match of 2014.
