Here in Texas holidays are big traditions, where families get together and cook delicious meals and talk about funny photos. These are the days where traditions are continued and memories are made. What about those who do not have a place to call home for the holidays? Adults that are homeless have Red Cross and Salvation Army and local churches to turn to. Adults are not the only ones that can be homeless, teenagers that are in cps care and on the streets is on a rise in Texas.

I had a chance to speak with program director Mike Wilson of the Texas Boys Ranch Children’s Shelter, a nonprofit emergency shelter where kids can be taken in, day or night.
