TEXAS TECH: The Women of TTU, is what the protesters call themselves as they handed out flyers and hung protest banners that read “no means no” a response to what Phi Delta Theta’s banner read “no means yes”. These banners were hung on Will Rogers’s statue on memorial circle and on the Physics building. Their flyers give reasons why they are protesting and also state a demand list. This group formed after the Phi Delta Theta fraternity party that had a banner endorsing rape and other sexual misconduct. According to the flyer we expect to see more of their banners and protest.
