HEY ITS RICKYC! AND HERES A BIT OF TECH FOR YA!
Microsoft: Microsoft released its new version of Windows on Tuesday: Windows 10. Described by Microsoft as its “most comprehensive platform ever” Windows 10 will be tailored across all hardware. Developers for Windows 10 can also build universal apps that will work everywhere across Windows. Microsoft released its Windows 10 “Insider Program” on Wednesday, which lets users a chance to try its new OS. The new Windows 10 is scheduled to be released late 2015
Samsung: As we trolley past Apples “bendgate” Samsung may be sharing some of Apple’s bad luck with their new flagship phones. Early adaptors of the Galaxy Note 4 are noticing a gap between the screen and the bezel. The gap is large enough to hold a credit card in place. This gap could lead to problems in the future, so keep a look out for #gapgate next to #bendgate on social media.
Cartoons: Saturday morning broadcasts was animations home field when it came to T.V. blocks. Huddling around your families’ old T.V. tube while eating a bowl of Fruity Pebbles was a kid’s tradition every Saturday. But, for the first time in over 50 years, you won’t find anymore Saturday morning cartoon blocks. It’s the end of an era. The CW network launched its last block of cartoons last Saturday effectively putting an end to our childhoods, and replacing the block with educational shows targeted at teen viewers. Viewers for Saturday morning cartoons fell sharply in the 80’s and since the introduction to streaming services such as Netflix, the end to the Saturday Morning Block was inevitable. Kid’s of newer generations may not be able to experience the glee we felt watching Saturday Morning Cartoons, but who knows, maybe a new tradition will arises from the memories of ours.
THIS WAS RICKYC! WIT YOUR BIT OF TECH!
