Albuquerque, NM — Charges are being filed against a New Mexico man who’s accused of using a stolen shopping cart to get to his probation meeting.
KOAT-TV says Michael Johnson of Albuquerque allegedly took the electric cart from a Wal-Mart and used it to get to a meeting with his probation officer at a courthouse. He told his officer where he got it from when asked and he ended up being arrested again. The 18-year-old is facing several charges for theft, which happened earlier this week. The cart is worth almost two-thousand-dollars.
