TEXAS TECH–Texas Tech’s own Phi Gamma Delta is in hot water with an incident that took place last year over a photo taken. A guy who pledged for the fraternity last year took a photo of a female Tech student partially nude and now the Greek organization is under fire for it. Texas Tech has placed a recruitment ban on the fraternity for the school year, which will impact them greatly financially. Each member pays at least $1,500 for membership and has a minimum of 35 men per year according to Alex Zielinski of KCBD NEWS. The members claim that the man that took the photo was not a member and just associated through friends. An Alumnus of the fraternity is looking to raise $100,000 to help Phi Gamma Delta get through the school year. Check back with updates from KTXT NEWS
