Today KTXT-FM shows its support of the students at WRAS-FM in Atlanta.
Georgia State University has contractually agreed to allow Georgia Public Broadcasting control of the daytime broadcast schedule on WRAS-FM, leaving its students to program the late evening and overnights.
To show our support of GSU students and their cause to regain control of WRAS-FM, we join dozens of other student-stations across the country in simulcasting a one-hour special program highlighting WRAS-FM. TODAY, WE ARE WRAS!
Following this special simulcast, students at KTXT-FM will host a live 2-hour program focused on why college radio is still important in the 21st Century.
Audio files of the WRAS-FM simulcast, and subsequent liveshow on KTXT-FM are below.
