(Dallas, TX) — Dallas ISD is reportedly investigating whether a grade was changed for a top basketball recruit at SMU.
WFAA reports a district audit discovered Kimball High coaches were pressuring teachers to change Keith Frazier’s physics grade so he could graduate. The audit faults former soccer coach Demarco King for the pressure, and places some blame on Kimball administrators.
It’s also alleged SMU kept tabs on Frazier’s grades and tried to see how they could be raised. SMU didn’t comment.
