(Houston, TX) — Former NFL and Texas Longhorns star quarterback Vince Young has fallen on hard times.
The “Houston Chronicle” reports Young has filed for bankruptcy and asked a Houston court last week for Chapter 11 protection. Young’s attorney filed the petition yesterday that estimates his client’s assets between $500,000 and $1 million. His liabilities are believed to be between $1 to $10 million. He’s also been involved in several lawsuits involving loans allegedly made out in his name during the NFL lockout.
Young was drafted by the Tennessee Titans in 2006 and has also played for the Eagles. He was also signed by Green Bay and Buffalo but never played for those teams in the regular season.
