(El Paso, TX) — Superintendents from a number of school districts in El Paso and Hudspeth County want to keep algebra Two as a graduation requirement for all high school students.
School officials and some students signed a resolution yesterday to have the State Board of Education reevaluate its decision to eliminate Algebra Two from the classes high school students must take to graduate, beginning next school year. State board officials are meeting later this month to discuss new graduation requirements.
