School Employee Killed In Texas

(Ft. Bend County, TX)  —  A Houston-area woman is dead following a shooting outside a local high school.

The woman’s ex-husband is suspected of pulling the trigger this morning outside Obra T. Tompkins High School at around six o’clock.  School officials say the cafeteria worker was getting out of her car at the time.

KHOU reports two coaches at the school performed CPR on the 32-year-old victim until paramedics arrived.  She was taken to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.

The suspect has reportedly barricaded himself in his home in Brookshire.
