Texas Tech Hosts Annual Arbor Day Celebration

WHAT: Texas Tech hosts the annual Arbor Day Celebration featuring student organization recognition and campus beautification.

WHEN: 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Friday (April 26)

WHERE: Memorial Circle

EVENT: Arbor Day features Texas Tech students, faculty and staff helping to beautify the campus and highlight student organizations. The event kicks off at 11 a.m. at Memorial Circle. Live music by This Century will begin at 11:30 a.m. and the student organization awards begin at 12:50 p.m., presented by the 2012 Homecoming King and Queen. Planting begins at 1:20 p.m. and continues until 3 p.m.
