BOSTON – Two bombs exploded Monday afternoon in Boston just outside the finish line of the Boston Marathon. The first bomb detonated around 2:50pm Eastern Time, with the second explosion following 15 seconds later.
According to sources at least three people are dead and at least 144 were injured. Another reported explosion at the JFK library in Boston just a few blocks away is now being reported as a mechanical fire, and not related to the bombings near the Marathon Finish Line.
Police were able to locate at least two other explosive devices those were dismantled before they went off. There haven’t been any reports on those responsible behind today’s attack, we’ll continue to keep you updated as more information because available.
