CIUDAD JUAREZ – The offices of a newspaper and a TV station in Ciudad Juarez were hit in a drive-by shooting early Wednesday morning. No one was injured.
At about 1am Wednesday morning security cameras captured a silver Dodge Caravan pulling up to the entrance of El Diario newspaper in Ciudad Juarez.
Gunman opened fire, striking the glass doors multiple times. About 15 minutes later gunfire hit the outside of Canal 44, a local TV station.
Police hadn’t determined a motive or made any arrests hours after the shootings. This Sunday gunman murdered a reporter in the Mexican border town of Ojinaga four hours southeast of Juárez.
