LUBBOCK – One man was hospitalized and another pronounced dead in what police are calling a possible homicide Tuesday.
Lubbock Police received a call at around 9:30 yesterday morning reporting that a man covered in blood had emerged from a flaming duplex in the 1600 block of 58th street.
He told authorities upon their arrival that he had murdered his wife and then set the duplex on fire.
Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire and located a body inside of the home.
The suspect was taken to University Medical Center for fire-related injuries.
