The Texas Medical Board is dismissing an investigation of a Sugar Land doctor accused of stealing several doses of coronavirus vaccines.
The probe found that Dr. Hasan Gokal had administered the doses to eligible patients, and the doses otherwise would have gone to waste.
Dr. Gokal administered some of the doses to his acquaintances, including his wife, who has a pulmonary disease.
The board determined there was insufficient evidence to a prove that Dr. Gokal’s actions violated the Medical Practice Act.
