A San Antonio native will appear in a major role in a superhero show on Disney Plus, starting next year.
Saagar Shaikh graduated from John Marshall High School and UTSA. He announced on Friday he’d been cast in the show Ms. Marvel.
Shaikh will play the brother of the main character, played by Iman Vallani.
The show features the adventures of Kamala Khan, a teenage Pakistani girl from Jersey City who becomes a superhero.
