Carnival Cruise Line is scheduled to sail out of Galveston again by early August.
After the cruise line announced cruises from various ports would begin on August 1st, bookings shot up 600-percent.
Carnival’s website lists a Western Caribbean cruise aboard the Carnival Dream is scheduled to sail from Galveston on August 8th.
Carnival issued a news release saying resumption of its operations is pending cooperation with federal, state, local and international government health officials.
