Lakers beat Pelicans 122-114

Lebron-2. Zion-0.

The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the New Orleans Pelicans 122-114 last night in Louisiana.

With Anthony Davis sitting out with a sore knee, Lebron James went to work as he ended up with 34 points, 12 rebounds, and 13 assists as he led his team to victory.

Rookie star Zion Williamson had a career-high 35 points and 7 rebounds in the game. He had a better outing against Lebron than when they faced each other last week, but the veteran still could handle the young gun.

The Lakers overcame a six-point deficit early in the fourth quarter and had control for the rest of the game. The Lakers have now picked up their 46th win while the Pelicans are battling for the 8th seed in the playoffs while they are now 26-34.
