A new poll is putting Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders ahead of former Vice President Joe Biden in the Texas Democratic presidential primary.
The University of Texas/Texas Tribune Poll has Sanders at 24-percent with Biden at 22-percent.
Sanders will be opening five new Texas campaign offices in Houston, San Antonio, Austin, McAllen, and Dallas.
The Senator from Vermont recently launched a five-and-a-half-million-dollar ad campaign across Super Tuesday states, including Texas.
The Texas primary is March 3rd.
