James Harden and the 10-3 Rockets will host the 5-8 Portland Trail Blazers tonight at 7 PM.
The Rockets are riding on an eight-game winning streak while Harden is looking to take his MVP Award back as he has been averaging 43 points, 6.7 rebounds, 7.9 assists, and 2.3 steals per game. Per game! Many feared that the two leading players in turnovers (with Russell Westbrook) could not get it done, but it seems that they are.
Harden scored 49 points with 6 assists against Minnesota this past Saturday as they went on to win 125-105. Rookie Chris Clemons had a breakout rookie performance as he scored a career-high 19 points while former Sacramento King, Ben McLemore had 20 points and 4 rebounds.
Portland, on the other hand, has only won 2 of their past 5 games as they just edged the Spurs, 121-116. Possibly the most overlooked guard, CJ McCollum scored 32 points with 7 assists and 6 rebounds as Dame Time Lillard scored 22 points with both 6 rebounds and assists.
The new kid on the block, Hassan Whiteside, has helped out the Blazers this season, while against the LaMarcus Aldridge and the Spurs, he still got 12 rebounds and scored 21 points.
You can watch the Trail Blazers face the Rockets tonight at 7 PM on NBATV.
