Mahomes says his ankle injury won’t affect him this week

Early two-time MVP candidate Patrick Mahomes says that his ankle injury against the Colts last week won’t affect his mobility for this week’s game.

Mahomes said “I actually feel pretty good today. I feel like after the [Colts] game, it was sore after the game. But it’s feeling pretty good today, so I’m glad to be able to go out there and practice on it and get it moving around and stuff like that. I feel like I’ll be fine playing and moving around and still doing what I need to do to win.”

This isn’t the first time his ankle has caused problems. Patty originally injured in back in Week 1 against the Jaguars. Although he has been on the injury report every week, he hasn’t missed any practice.

The Kansas City Chiefs will host the Houston Texans this Sunday with a kickoff time of 12 PM Central Time.
