Lions’ Marvin Jones had his second 4-touchdown game vs Vikings

You read that right, this is the second time Detroit’s receiver Marvin Jones has had a 4-touchdown game.

If that wasn’t enough of an accomplishment, Jones had 3 of the 4 touchdowns just in the first half! Marin was unguardable in the red zone since al of his touchdowns were less than 16 yards. He ended the game with having 10 receptions for 93 yards.

Jones’ last four-touchdown game was back in 2013 with the Bengals where he had 8 catches for 122 yards against the Jets.

Despite such an elite performance, the Lions fell to the Vikings 42-30. When asked after the game about his accomplishment, he said “Not right now. I still don’t even think about the one I had way back when. I’ll think about that, you know, when I’m old.”

Jones joins a Hall of Fame group of receivers who have also had multi-four-touchdown games. The legends include Jerry Rice, Sterling Sharpe, and Bob Shaw.
