The Dallas Cowboys will receive Michael Bennett from the New England Patriots for a 2021 seventh-round pick.
With the NFL’s trade deadline on Tuesday, the Patriots have been busy this week with trades. They received Mohammed Sanu and now have a late 2021 draft pick.
The Cowboys, on the other hand, the 33-year-old was actually suspended by the Patriots for last week’s game because of his conduct that was detrimental to the team. After that incident, it seems New England would be happy to let Bennett be the Cowboys’ problem now.
Bennett has 65.5 career sacks and has forced 23 fumbles in 147 total career games. In his six games with the Patriots, he had 5 tackles, 2.5 sacks and even a pass deflection.
