Cincinnati ‘s star receiver A.J. Green will not practice this week, which continues his 2019 debut.
Bengals head coach Zac Taylor said that the earliest Green could return to the field in Week 7 against the Jaguars. There has been no timetable for when he will even start practicing either. Taylor said he watches “him every day on the rehab field so I see him doing some good things.”
The heart of the Bengals’ offense will be a free agent next season. Coach Taylor stated that getting Green back next year is something the team’s front office “continues to talk through,” as well as many other players on the team.
With John Ross being placed on the IR on October 2 with an injury to his sternoclavicular joint, Tyler Boyd is now the number one receiver for Cincinnati. They will travel to Baltimore to play Lamar Jackson and the Ravens this upcoming Sunday.
