The Carolina Panthers host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers tomorrow night at 7:20.
Apparently, Cam Newton enjoys playing against the division rivals. Maybe because he has thrown 29 touchdowns against the team. In his last game against the Los Angelos Rams, he had 239 passing yards, no touchdowns, and an interception. The Panthers were heavily carried by the young star Christian McCaffrey who had 128 rushing yards, 81 receiving yards, and 2 touchdowns. But the wildly popular fantasy player’s effort wasn’t enough as they lost 30-27.
In Tampa Bay last week, Jameis Winston struggled against the 49ers defense as he threw 3 interceptions. Star receiver Mike Evans only had 2 catches for 28 yards, which made fantasy owners very upset. The Bucs were defeated 31-17 at home.
Head coach for the Buccaneers Bruce Arians has hopefully got on to his team about their poor performance against the 49ers. Winston and crew are going to need to make some changes if they want to contend against a team who nearly beat the reigning NFC champs.
