Red Sox and President of Baseball Operations Dombrowski Part Ways

Dave Dombrowski had built World Series champions in both Florida and Boston and helped Detroit go to the Series twice in his 40-year career in baseball.

After working the past three years as the Red Sox’s president of baseball operations, he brought home a championship and three straight AL East titles.

The news was announced after losing 10 to 5 to Yankees at midnight. A statement was released saying there would be “no formal media avaliability” to discuss the move.
