Well, what a week it has been in the MMA world. We, as MMA fans have been put on the edge of our seats since that electrifying finish by Justin Gaethje at UFC Vancouver over Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone, and now we have news of a possible trilogy fight between former light heavyweight and heavyweight champion, Daniel Cormier and current heavyweight champion, Stipe Miocic.
Miocic regained his title after a year-long hiatus with a devastating knockout of Daniel Cormier who initially defeated Miocic the first time they faced off in a champion vs champion super fight at UFC 226, but Miocic would exact his revenge on Cormier this past August at UFC 241. UFC President Dana White confirmed to Barstool Sports that he is indeed trying to finalize a trilogy fight between Cormier and Miocic.
After contemplating retirement, it seems Cormier has one more fight left in the tank to take on who is known by many as the “greatest heavyweight of all-time” Stipe Miocic. White told Barstool Sports that Miocic is currently still recovering from some minor injuries from the Cormier rematch, but the trilogy is in the works without question.

The heavyweight from Australia showed promise in his Contender Series fight and will look to give Greg Hardy his first loss ever in MMA. Hardy who was originally set to take on Jarjis Danho at UFC Singapore this coming October, but after Danho pulled out of the fight Hardy finds himself a new opponent and is looking to keep the hype train on the tracks.
Jessica Rose-Clark will make her long-awaited return to the UFC octagon against Pannie Kianzad at UFC Moscow, November 9th. Rose-Clark is 3-1 in her last 4 fights in the UFC and has been dealing with a foot injury since June of 2018 coming off her loss to former flyweight title challenger, Jessica Eye.
