Pittsburgh Pirate’s Felipe Vazquez has been charged with multiple felonies in two different states for sexual assault.
In Florida, Vazquez had been charged with “soliciting a child” and “providing obscene material to minors.”
He was then charged in Pennsylvania with three felonies: misdemeanor, indecent assault of a person young than 16 years old, statutory sexual assault of a minor 11 years or older, and unlawful contact with a minor.
The Pirate’s closer had a record of 5-1 with 28 saves and 90 strikeouts on the season and was signed with the team through at least 2021.
