Learn how to make tamales! Rawlings Community Center will be hosting its two-part Tamale Making Workshop on April 12-13, 2019.
Part I of the workshop will be Friday, April 12, from 6-8 p.m., when participants will learn how to make the meat filling of the tamale.
On Saturday, April 13, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., participants will work with the masa, then assemble and cook the tamales during Part II of the workshop.
At the end, participants will take home a half-dozen homemade tamales.
The cost is $20 per person for the two-day workshop and includes all supplies needed to make the tamales.
