According to NFL Network Insider Ian Rappaport, Dallas is bringing Randall Cobb in for a visit today at the Star in Frisco.
Since former Cowboy Cole Beasley shipped off to the Buffalo Bills as a free agent, Dallas has been in the market for a slot wide receiver. Cobb remains one of the better free agent options available after the top targets were picked over last week when free agency began.
Cobb spent his first eight seasons with the Green Bay Packers, when he was drafted in the second round in 2011 and quickly became one of Aaron Rodgers favorite targets. He could be a valuable number 2 or 3 option for any quarterback in the league, even though he has been hindered by injuries the past couple of seasons.
Likely to sign a short term deal if he chooses Dallas, he could prove to be a good option for Dak Prescott, and pairing well with Amari Cooper and Michael Gallup. This could be good for both sides if the financial situation is worked out accordingly between both sides.
