A deputy with the Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office was arrested early Monday morning, according to the Lubbock Police Department.
Brandon Coulter, 32, is charged with domestic assault, a Class A misdemeanor. Officers were called to the 5200 block of Marshall Street around 2:45 a.m. in reference to a domestic disturbance, a police report stated.
A police report said Coulter assaulted his girlfriend at their shared residence.
Coulter was held in the Lubbock County Detention Center on a $1,500 bond. By Monday afternoon, he was released.
