Dakota Allen and Antoine Wesley have both been invited to the NFL Scouting Combine. Allen will be among 37 linebackers to take part in the NFL Combine, which runs Feb. 26 through March 4 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. Wesley will be on hand along with 47 other wide receivers who will be looking to impress NFL executives from all 32 teams.
Potential draftees are asked to participate in a series of drills during the combine such as the bench press, 40-yard dash, vertical jump, broad jump and shuttle run, while also undergoing a rigorous slate of meetings with team executives and doctors from all 32 teams.
Allen will be looking to improve his draft stock after an impressive three-year career as a Red Raider, which was highlighted by All-Big 12 first team honors in 2018.
Wesley, meanwhile, had a breakout year as a junior in 2018 after hauling in an impressive 88 passes for 1,410 yards and nine touchdowns. He concluded the season ranked second nationally in receiving yards per game (117.5) and third in receiving yards en route to earning first team All-America honors by the Football Writers Association of America.
