There were solemn moments before and after Texas Tech’s basketball game Saturday.
Just before the tip a moment of silence was held for two men who died in an early morning crash Friday.
Osaretin Igbinedion, 23, and Esosa Oyemwense were in an SUV that crashed with a semi in northwest Lubbock, near North Slide Road and the Clovis Highway.
One of the victims attended Tech. Both are cousins of basketball player Norense Odiase.
After the game Baylor and Tech players joined on the court for a prayer.
Investigators are still looking into the cause of the crash.
