(Laughlin Air Force Base, TX) — An Air Force pilot is dead after his supersonic fighter jet crashed at a base on the U.S.-Mexico border.
The Air Force says the T-38C Talon went down last night at Laughlin Air Force Base, about 150 miles west of San Antonio.
A second pilot is in the hospital.
There’s no word on his condition or what caused the crash.
