Statement regarding threatening message:

The Texas Tech Police Department (TTPD) is aware of a threat written on a bathroom wall in Holden Hall and is investigating. TTPD is reviewing building security video and sweeping the building to determine if similar messages exist. Security presence on campus will increase as TTPD operates under a heightened alert.

The safety and security of the Texas Tech campus community is the university’s top priority. We will update as more information becomes available.
