(San Antonio, TX) — Three Walmart stores in the San Antonio area will close by a month from now.
The closures come as the retailer continues to upgrade and remodel its stores statewide.
A spokeswoman says the Walmart Neighborhood Markets on Walzem Road, Pleasanton Road, and East Southcross will be shut down.
The employees have been notified, and will be able to transfer to other stores if they’d like.
Pharmacy staff will work with customers to transfer their prescriptions to nearby locations.
The three stores will close on October 12th.
