(San Antonio, TX) — The multimillion-dollar Alamo Master Plan is another step closer to realization.
On Tuesday, the management committee unanimously agreed to approve the proposed plan to redevelop the Alamo and Alamo Plaza.
The plan calls for moving the Cenotaph and providing 24/7 access to the plaza through six access points, among other changes.
The Alamo Citizens Advisory Committee approved the plan last week, over the vocal objections of some members of the public.
City Council is expected to vote on the plan this month.
