Border Patrol Supervisor Arrested In Killing Spree Case

(Laredo, TX) — A U.S. Border Patrol official is in jail facing murder charges.

Juan Ortiz was arrested after a woman he allegedly kidnapped escaped and went directly to local authorities in Webb County.

Ortiz is accused of the murders of four other women over a two week spree that ended with his arrest this Saturday.

Webb County officials claim the Border Patrol intelligence supervisor’s victims were known to be sex workers and that one murder victim was a transgender woman.
