Oil Prices Dip On Rising Trade Tensions

(Undated) — Oil prices are down slightly, under pressure from rising trade tensions between the U.S. and China.

International benchmark Brent crude is off 18 cents a barrel, to $72.63 while West Texas Intermediate crude is unchanged.

Industry analysts say trade protectionism and escalating tensions between the world’s biggest economies have cast a looming shadow on global oil demand growth in 2018.
