(New York City, NY) — MTV’s Music Video Awards are getting their lowest ratings ever.
The annual video award show was held Monday night in New York City.
Variety says the telecast had its lowest ratings in MTV’s history, pulling in only 2.25 million viewers on the network.
MTV claims, however, that the VMAs drew over 140-million streams Monday night, making it the most streamed show in the history of Viacom, the company that owns MTV.
