Judge Extends Ruling Blocking Release Of 3-D Printed Guns

(Seattle, WA) — Blueprints for 3-D printed guns are to remain off the Internet.

A judge in Seattle extended a ruling to block their publication.

More than a dozen states are suing an Austin company that wants to distribute the directions.

The states argue that making the instructions available to everyone would give criminals easy access to guns.

The company Defense Distributed says it has a First Amendment right to publish the instructions.
