(Fort Worth, TX) — Lockheed Martin could hire up to 400 employees for its Fort Worth plant at a job fair planned for later this month.
The event is scheduled for July 30th at the Sheraton Hotel in downtown Fort Worth.
So far, more than a thousand job seekers have registered for the event.
Lockheed Martin, a major defense contractor, manufactures the F-35 fighter jet at its Fort Worth plant.
The company announced about a year and a half ago that it would add about 1,800 jobs to the plant in order to meet the growing demand for the F-35.
