(San Antonio, TX) — A top San Antonio-area high school basketball player has set his sights on Texas Tech.
Kevin McCullar, a four-star guard at Wagner High School, has committed to play for head coach Chris Beard and the Red Raiders. McCullar chose Tech from among more than a dozen offers, including UTSA, UH, Louisville, Kansas State, and Virginia Tech.
He plans to skip his senior season at Wagner, graduate in December from Harlan High School, and head for Lubbock.
