(San Marcos, TX) — Investigators say a fifth body was found Monday in the burned ruins of some student apartments in San Marcos.
The Travis County Medical Examiner’s Office in Austin is examining the bodies in an effort to identify them.
The medical examiner will try to match the remains with the names of five people still missing after Friday’s fire at the Iconic Village and Vintage Pads.
The complexes mostly house students from Texas State University.
