Bike-Share Company Says It Is Leaving Dallas

(Dallas, TX) — A Chinese bike-share company is pulling out of Dallas rather than get a permit as required by the city’s new regulations.

Not long ago, there were more bikes from ofo than from any other bike-share company doing business in Dallas.

But ofo is now removing its bright yellow bikes from Dallas and many other U.S. markets.

The bike-share industry came to Dallas less than a year ago, and soon the streets were so cluttered with bikes, people were complaining and demanding regulation.
