Whistleblower: Flynn Told Associate Russian Sanctions Would Be ‘Ripped Up’

Michael Flynn

(Washington, DC) — New details are coming to light about President Trump’s former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn. According to an account from a whistleblower made public today, Flynn told one of his former business associates that economic sanctions against Russia would be “ripped up” — just minutes into Trump’s presidency. Flynn reportedly believed that ending the sanctions would allow a business deal he had once been a part of to move forward. Flynn pleaded guilty last week to lying to the FBI about his contact with the Russian Ambassador.
