(Washington, DC) — The Trump administration is leveling new attacks on the credibility of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia probe. A letter obtained by Fox News from a lawyer for the Trump transition team is accusing Mueller’s office of improperly receiving transition documents. The letter sent to Senate and House committees today claims staff at the General Services Administration didn’t follow the law when it comes to handling documents, including confidential attorney-client and privileged communications. The counsel to Trump for America says Mueller’s office knew the GSA did not own or control the records, but still used the material in their probe.
