(Salt Lake City) — President Trump is signing the necessary executive orders to downsize two national monuments in Utah.
In Salt Lake City today, Trump complained about “federal overreach” and said decisions about federal lands should not be made by bureaucrats in Washington.
A presidential executive order reduces the size of Bears Ears and Grande Staircase-Escalante National Monuments. The southern Utah monuments had been expanded by President Obama.
