(Ventura, CA) — It’s now day eleven as California fire crews continue to battle the Thomas Fire. The fire continues to burn and has scorched over 256-thousand acres, but is now 35-percent contained. Fire officials say it will be weeks before they can reach full containment. More than a thousand structures have been destroyed in Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties. A red flag warning for most of the impacted area has expired, but the red flag warning remains in place for Santa Barbra County.
